“I could have been a billionaire, I was a millionaire”: Inside the minds of former bitcoin holders

We asked several former bitcoin (BTC) holders to tell us their up-and-down story with a benchmark cryptocurrency, whose volatility may have caused a few cold sweats.
In 2013, Bitcoin was unknown in France, capped at around $100, and you had to be cunning to buy it on foreign sites. "A computer scientist friend told me about this digital currency to be produced with computers. I saw it as a money factory and bought a few servers for €1,500 to test it out," David recalls.
